Our Story
What was once just a little twinkle...
in two young fashion designers' eyes is now a clothing empire eager to take up space in your closet... and it all started in the coed dorm at FIT in NYC.
It was the 5th floor, to be exact, where two students––Randy and Michelle––became fast friends. Tackling design classes and spending many a late night together quickly revealed their shared work ethic and deep love for making clothes and people feel beautiful– and thus their lifelong connection was born.
Before graduating, Randy won a Kleinfeld Bridal competition and was quickly snapped up by The Diamond Bridal Collection to design for them with his own name on the label. This was just the beginning of what would be his epic career in bridal fashion – ranging from trend-setting innovations and grueling trunk show schedules to record-breaking sales and his massive role on the famous show, “Say Yes to the Dress”.
Meanwhile, Michelle spent life-changing time in Italy, worked on 7th Avenue for high-end designers and designed under Stan Herman (President of CFDA, Co-Founder of 7th on 6th runway shows and one of the first designers on QVC). She went on to launch her own boutique women’s wear line, Michuginah, where she found success and faced challenges after 9/11. She then shifted her career into sleepwear and character licensing, designing and innovating intimates and sleepwear with adult onesies and cosplay corsets for beloved icons like Batman and SpongeBob.
Randy and Michelle stayed close throughout their professional careers and personal lives and were always one party or late-night design shop sesh away. A few years back, you could find them at Michelle’s apartment on the Upper East Side hosting spontaneous parties for fabulous friends from around the world... or traveling to Europe, New Orleans and Mexico together (sharing many magical “Corona moments”)... or in Randy’s design studio late at night bouncing ideas off each other – always with a lot of laughter and hijinks.
Fast-forward to 2025...
those two bright-eyed fashion design students launched House of Randy by Randy Fenoli under Michelle’s design company, Laws of Lux Brands. Starting with sleepwear and intimates and evolving to much more (stay tuned!), they’re tickled pink to bring you luxury, premium clothing you can feel great in.
Once again, they’re back in the design room together, loopy and laughing... and grateful that “Life is good!”.
From Randy and Michelle to you:
Welcome to the House of Randy.
Come for the style and stay for the comfort!
